Terms of service

Version of 18 March 2026

1. Scope

  • — These terms cover use of the Nordvik monitoring platform. Freight forwarding services are governed by the separate forwarding contract and the applicable OPWS conditions.
  • — The platform is provided to businesses. It is not offered to consumers.
  • — Material changes to these terms are announced at least 30 days in advance to the contract contact.

2. Accounts and credentials

  • — Site keys, operator tokens and export tokens are issued to the customer, who is responsible for their handling.
  • — The customer administers its own operator accounts, including revoking access for departing staff.
  • — Actions performed with a valid credential are attributed to the customer.

3. Recording and lawful use

  • — The customer is responsible for the lawfulness of recording at its sites, including signage, notification of staff, and any works council or union agreement required in its jurisdiction.
  • — Nordvik does not review footage content and does not act as controller for it.
  • — Cameras must not be positioned to monitor areas where recording is prohibited, including sanitary facilities and rest areas.

4. Availability

  • — Ingest is operated across two regions with automatic failover. Availability targets and remedies, where agreed, are set out in the contract.
  • — Footage that never reached us cannot be recovered: if a site is offline beyond its buffering capacity, that period is lost, and we report it rather than conceal it.
  • — Planned maintenance is announced at least 72 hours in advance.

5. Retention and deletion

  • — Footage is retained for the period of the plan, after which it is deleted automatically.
  • — Ranges placed on retention hold are kept until released by the customer.
  • — On termination, footage remains available for export for 30 days, then is deleted irreversibly.

6. Term and termination

  • — Contracts run monthly unless agreed otherwise, with 30 days notice to terminate.
  • — We may suspend a site that endangers the platform — for example a recorder in a fault loop saturating ingest — after notifying the customer.
  • — Unpaid invoices older than 45 days may lead to suspension of console access; retention continues during suspension.
